About Our Workplace First Aid Courses
Importantly, our team ensures that all courses meet the resuscitation guidelines through delivery, evaluation, and quality assurance. Additionally, our experienced instructors provide plenty of hands-on practical training, ensuring participants are thoroughly prepared for real-life emergency situations. Moreover, participants receive continuous support and feedback throughout the course to enhance their learning experience. Importantly, the interactive and fun style of our courses enables participants to become competent hence confident first aiders. Making this a successful way to train your staff in these all important life saving skills.
Emergency First Aid at Work
We offer one-day First Aid courses where you'll learn Basic Life Support, using an Automated External Defibrillator, accident procedures, and strategies for handling accidents and illnesses in a low-risk workplace.
There are two levels of courses available dependent on the level of certification required by an organisation.
Level 3 CPD Accredited (VTQ)
This qualification from Protrainings is a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) certification. Importantly, it is fully accepted by HSE and is sufficient for most companies and organisations. Additionally it is aligned to Skills for Health, making it suitable for any healthcare industry.
Level 3 OFQUAL Regulated Course (TQUK)
Participants undertake this Protraining course as a regulated program. Importantly, certification is obtained through the accrediting body TQUK. Furthermore, some businesses and organisations may require this certification either for their own regulations.

First Aid at Work 3-Day Course.
For some businesses, the 3-Day First at Work Course is required. It ensures they have in accordance with HSE regulations "fully" trained First Aiders. Importantly, it effectively equips participants to deal with more serious accidents or illnesses. Therefore, making this course suitable for higher-risk industries or workplaces and those with larger workforces. Furthermore, due to its adaptability, the course allows instructors to precisely tailor it to meet the specific requirements of any workplace, based on the hazards identified in their risk assessment.

First Aid at Work Additional Course Summary
The first day of this course covers the curriculum for the EFAW. The following two days covers the following additional subjects:
How to conduct a secondary survey
First aid to a casualty with suspected injuries to bones, muscles and joints
First aid to a casualty with suspected head and spinal injuries
First aid to a casualty with suspected chest injury
First aid to a casualty with an eye injury
First aid to a casualty with sudden poisoning
Recognition and Management of additional Illness in the Workplace-Including Asthma
Dealing with catastrophic bleeding -This is an overview a more extensive 4 hour course is available
All our First Aid Courses are taught by experienced Nurses with vast clinical and emergency care experience. Whilst importantly our workplace courses meet the HSE requirements.
Furthermore, all the courses meet the approval of the organisation Protrainings uk, who are our accrediting centre. They provide VTQ(Vocational Training Qualifications) and accredited qualifications from an Awarding Organisation TQUK.
First Aid Learning Outcomes
After successfully completing the course, participants will gain a deeper understanding and increased awareness of first aid treatment, and CPR. Importantly, enabling them to effectively handle accidents and illnesses at work and to respond promptly in emergency situations.
Furthermore participants will become COMPETENT hence CONFIDENT First Aiders. Importantly, dependent on the level of course taken enabling them to provide First Aid in either a high risk workplace or a lower risk environment.
How Many Can Attend Training?
We will conduct all our First Aid Courses with a maximum of 12 participants, thereby effectively restricting the class size and therefore ensuring the active involvement of all attendees in the practical aspects of the course.

Who will Conduct the Training?
All of our expert clinical tutors are Nurses with an abundance of clinical and complex care experience and knowledge – so you’ll be in great hands!
Course Duration
We offer 2 versions of Workplace First Aid training courses:
First Aid at Work - An 18 hour/3-day training course
Emergency First Aid at Work, - A 6-hour/1-day training course
They can also be taken as a blended option
-FAW-A 12-hour course with 1-day done online
-EFAW -A 4-hour course with half a day done online
Certification
Participants will be issued with certificates of attendance valid for a period of 3 years.
Learners will complete an end-of-course knowledge assessment and practical assessments allowing a demonstration of their understanding.
These courses all meet HSE and Awarding Organisations requirements and are available as ProTrainings CPD or Regulated Qualification.

We offer a blended option for the FAW course. Therefore by enrolling in our online course participants can become a fully trained First Aider with just two classroom days. Furthermore, engage in our immersive, blended online video-based course to significantly reduce training and travel costs
